(pdf version)

In this warm book, Elizabeth Elliot addresses her daughter Valérie (then about to get married) and, through her, to all those, men or women, who wish to better understand what femininity means from the point of view of God.

Author

Elizabeth Elliot is the wife of Jim Elliot - Valérie's father - massacred along with four other missionaries by the Aucas (Ecuador) in 1956, at the age of twenty-eight. Graduating from Wheaton University in 1948 and the Prairie Bible Institute, she became a professor at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, where she married the late A. H. Leitch. She is well known for her work of quality and precision that sets her apart among today's Christian authors.
