Author

Alfred Edersheim (1825-1889) was born in Vienna. After his studies in Austria, he traveled to England where he converted to Christianity. At the age of twenty-one he was ordained a Presbyterian minister. In 1875 he became a member of the clergy of the Church of England. During the last years of his life, Alfred Edersheim taught at the University of Oxford. He died in 1889 in Menton, France.

Une TONNE d’infos!

Vous l’avez deviné, il ne s’agit pas d’un récit avec un déroulement qui nous tient sur le bout de notre chaise. Cet ouvrage réussit cependant à très bien nous mettre dans le contexte de l’époque et à nous aider à comprendre différents éléments des Écritures qui nous sont étrangers. Ce livre plaira à ceux qui ont le désir de connaître le cadre dans lequel Jésus est venu.
