<transcy>Prosperity ? (La prospérité?)</transcy>
Presentation
But if anyone - even an angel from heaven - announces a gospel deviating from the Word of God, he is cursed. All Christians, without exception, should give serious thought to these words Paul addressed to the Galatians. The gospel is the most precious gift the Church has received. It must cherish it, protect it and proclaim it. We have a responsibility to verify the validity of our beliefs and teachings by asking ourselves this question: is it really the gospel? Is this the gospel that God has revealed to us in the Bible?
There is a false gospel - the prosperity gospel - spreading all over the world. Several churches preach this false gospel. However, this is an extremely dangerous lie that lurks under the guise of religion. All who are affected by this deception walk away from the Good News of God and embrace a man-centered lie. Like the apostle Paul, the authors of this book take seriously the danger of proclaiming a gospel that would be contrary to the gospel of Christ. Indeed, there is nothing more crucial than knowing the true gospel, for the salvation of our souls depends on it.
