Why is it easier to obey God than to trust him?

We see the merits of divine requirements, even if we refuse to comply with them or find it difficult to put them into practice. Its laws are reasonable for the believer.

In contrast, our circumstances often defy explanation. In times of trial, we are not long in doubting the love and goodness of God, as well as his ability to control events. Of course, we don't put it that way, but our attitudes betray a truth that would frighten us if we thought about it.

The ordeal is tough. Understanding it is even more difficult. Why does God allow this? Where is the meaning? Yes, it's hard to trust him.

To achieve this, writes the author, one must no longer look with the eye of the senses but with that of faith. We need to see who God is, what he does, and how he decided to achieve his goal.

Reading these pages will lead the reader to see that the circumstances of his life all rest in the hands of a God whose sovereignty is absolutely total and universal. Her wisdom, meanwhile, is endless and her love is truly perfect.

God seeks his own glory and that of his Son, as well as the good of his children. As a result, nothing will hinder his designs.
