<transcy>Learning to be happy (Apprendre à être heureux)</transcy>
We all want to be happy, but we find it difficult sometimes. We live in a world where discontent reigns, and we tend to complain. However, Christians can enjoy a special happiness that allows them to remain happy under all circumstances. In this book, Jeremiah Burroughs explains the reasons for this happiness and how to preserve it.
Author
Jeremiah Burroughs (1599-1646) was a pastor, theologian, and member of the Westminster assembly. He was educated at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He then served as a pastor in several congregations in England, then in Holland. During the First English Civil War, he returned to England to preach and bring peace to Christians. He quickly became one of London's most admired preachers. Today we remember him as a modest and peaceful man who lamented the divisions caused by differences of beliefs.

"If there's one book by Jeremiah Burroughs that you absolutely must read, it's Learning to Be Happy . This work has stood the test of time and has established itself as a unique work. This book is among the first works of the Puritans that I have read and it has greatly influenced my life. "
