<transcy>The Right Foundation (Le bon fondement)</transcy>
An overview of Christian doctrines in the spirit of the Reformation
It’s good to take a look at the foundation on which a building rests from time to time. Indeed, a building may appear healthy, but suddenly start to totter, revealing a faulty foundation. According to Ephesians 2:21, the Church of Jesus Christ is compared to an edifice built on the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets. It is therefore important to review the confession of faith and teaching of the local church from time to time in order to verify its content in the light of biblical teaching. Indeed, it is on compliance with the doctrine of the Apostles that the solidity of the construction will depend.
