<transcy>Humility: The Beauty of Holiness (L'humilité : la beauté de la sainteté)</transcy>
We cannot grow as Christians without understanding and appreciating the importance of humility. When Jesus humbled himself into the form of a servant, he was the model of humility par excellence for us. In this book, Andrew Murray shows us that humility is the hallmark and true nobility of a disciple of Jesus Christ. He presents humility as the main virtue to be acquired, but also as an abundant source of spiritual blessings.
"Whoever humbles himself will be exalted" (Lu 14.11). Is not the example of Jesus the proof of the truth of these words? Isn't this the guarantee of the certainty that they will come true for us? Let us take his yoke upon us and learn from him, for he is “meek and lowly in heart” (Mt 11:29).
