Author

Louis Berkhof (1873-1957) was a pastor, theologian and teacher whose writings influenced several seminaries and Bible institutes during the twentieth century. He taught for nearly forty years at Calvin Theological Seminary, of which he became president in 1931, and he wrote more than twenty books during his career. He was best known for his spirit of synthesis and his clear explanations of basic theological concepts.

Un excellent livre

Ce livre de Berkhof est un excellent résumé des doctrines importantes du christianisme. Les concepts sont expliqués d’une manière que tous peuvent comprendre. Les passages donnés pour la mémorisation ainsi que les questions à la fin des chapitres permettent grandement de grandir dans la foi et ils permettent de s’assurer d’avoir bien compris les concepts mentionnés. Je conseille fortement ce livre. C’est une bénédiction que Berkhof a été traduit en français! *
