EVANGELISM IS MORE THAN A PROGRAM
Every four or five years, many churches go out and find the latest fad in evangelism. Their leaders then get busy putting together a new program, and then the members of those churches suddenly spend a lot of energy on evangelism efforts. Now, imagine a church that seeks instead to integrate evangelism into its culture. You will see leaders who are used to openly witnessing to their faith, and members who follow their lead and encourage each other to make evangelism part of their lifestyle. This is the model of evangelism that is presented in this short and compelling book. The author is not proposing another evangelism program, but rather a new way of living and proclaiming the Gospel.
Author
J. MACK STILES is the director of Golf Digital Solutions and the general secretary of Fellowship of Christian UAE Students (FOCUS) in the United Arab Emirates. He has worked as a church planter for many years and also serves as an elder at Redeemer Church in Dubai.
Recommendations
"Far from being dry and theoretical, this book is inspiring and practical. Through a humble tone and many illustrations, Mack Stiles invites us to clothe ourselves with the 'zeal to proclaim the good news of peace' (Eph 6:15)."
- PAUL HARRISON, pastor-evangelist in Paris
"A book that manages to reconnect the evangelist and the church to the culture of evangelism, but also reminds us of the reason for their presence in our society."
- RÉJEAN JOLY, pastor-evangelist for over 45 years; radio and television host; speaker
