Walking with God through trials and pain

Evil and suffering are inevitable. How to prepare for it?

If the purpose of life is to make the most of it, suffering can ruin everything. It is therefore necessary at all costs to give it meaning, because it is inevitable. All cultures of all time have tried to explain it.

Timothy Keller carefully analyzes the approach to philosophies, religious beliefs, humanist and materialist perspectives that seek to give meaning and hope to those who suffer. He then demonstrates how and how faith in Jesus Christ provides the means necessary to go through suffering without it breaking the one who lives it.

The author provides both biblical and practical insight. God is neither distant nor indifferent, but he walks with us in trials. Each chapter ends with a personal, intimate and moving testimony. The author also offers tips that everyone can apply in their personal context. Suffering is essential reading to understand the trials of life and go through them with God.
