<transcy>King in the storm (Roi dans la tempête)</transcy>
Presentation
Ezekiel, prophet of our time
The world is scary. Uproar is shaking up international affairs, especially in the Middle East. Multitudes of refugees are piling up in the camps. Fear and violence reign in the streets. Corruption rots the whole system. And in the middle, the Church, satisfied, gargles clichés and ape humanist theories.
This was Judah in the days of Ezekiel. Could this also be the description of our generation?
Ezekiel proclaimed a message that we need to hear today. God did not abdicate, he still reigns over all of his creation.
He pierced the threatening clouds of his anger that then surrounded Ezekiel and brought him a renewed vision.
This clear message of hope and power speaks of topicality in our own generation.
