R.-P. Duclos , born in La-Pointe-aux-Fourches (Saint-Pie and Saint-Damase sector), on March 29, 1835, served as pastor of the Union synodale des Églises evangéliques canadienne-française (1858- 1877) and the Presbyterian Church of Canada (1877-1912). He died in Vevey, Switzerland, on September 13, 1912. He was then buried in Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal. R.-P. Duclos was the first French Canadian to be ordained a Reformed pastor. He liked to put his gifts at the service of society. He was highly regarded, including by Catholics.

Excellent ouvrage sur la francophonie d'Amérique

Voilà un ouvrage qui nous parle de ce qui se passait chez-nous au Canada. Étant donné que l'histoire officielle passe souvent sous silence ces héraults de la foi, quelle joie d'en apprendre plus sur ces personnages majeurs de notre histoire.
