<transcy>The Grace Awakening (Éveil à la grâce) </transcy>
Presentation
The “murderers of grace” are everywhere: in our workplaces, in our neighborhoods, perhaps in our homes and, unfortunately, even in our churches. We are surrounded by people who criticize, condemn and destroy all hope of a joyful life. And, as Charles Swindoll so aptly points out, many of those who should be spreading the gospel of grace instead became self-righteous little bullies, taking it upon themselves to judge others.
In what is perhaps his most profound book so far, Charles Swindoll is not going dead hand. Awakening to Grace is a daring, insightful book that hits the nail on the head. Above all, it is a book of hope that leads us to overcome the frustration and guilt that comes with wanting to please others, and to taste the wonderful and liberating grace of God.
For the growing number of people who believe that life should be more than a sad and stern religion, Awakening to Grace offers a glorious option: the truth that sets us free.
