Author
Born in Scotland, Frederick Fyvie Bruce (October 12, 1910 - September 11, 1990) was educated at the universities of Cambridge, Aberdeen and Wien. He taught Greek in Edinburgh and Leeds and was responsible for the Department of Biblical History and Literature in Sheffield. He was also professor of criticism and exegesis in Manchester. In 1957 he was awarded the rank of honorary doctor.
