Presentation

I Want to Pray is a brief but remarkable study of the prayer life. With great simplicity and frankness, these pages cover a variety of important topics:

  • prayer in secret,
  • humility in prayer,
  • efficiency in prayer,
  • unanswered prayer,
  • prayer that comes too late, etc.

Written in a warm pastoral spirit, with depth and, at times, overwhelming veracity, this book strikingly penetrates the depths of the human heart. The author highlights the deception that often lurks there. He does so without harshness, sensitively exposing the teaching of Scripture.

I want to pray , which teaches us about prayer, also emphasizes how much we need the God of grace, to whom we address our prayers, to help us come into his presence.

Through these pages which attract and challenge, the reader will explore a new dimension of the great Christian privilege of prayer.
