Recommendations

"French-speaking Baptists, those in Europe anyway, and I am one, are often unaware of the Reformed origin of the Baptism from which they came - genealogical continuity is certain. The beautiful work of the Quebec pastor on the theology of the covenant, or alliances, which the doctors of ancient Baptism developed in depth by debating with the other Reformed, illustrates this rootedness brilliantly. »
–Henri Blocher, Free Faculty of Evangelical Theology of Vaux-sur-Seine

"Pascal Denault deserves thanks for his research in which the nuances of 17th century alliance theology are described. He highlighted the most important factors in understanding the differences in thought and practice between Presbyterians and Calvinist Baptists by describing theological concepts in readily accessible terms. »
- James M. Renihan, Ph. D., Institute of Reformed Baptist Studies

“This new research by Pascal Denault is most useful, since it provides an accurate summary of the historical discussion between Baptists and their fellow Puritans, then it indicates how this discussion can come to our aid today in dealing with a vital issue. »
- Michael A. G. Haykin, D. Th., The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

Superbe livre
