Often when we become a workman's wife, our suitcase for this new adventure is very thin. Hence the importance of consulting the great wisdom of Mary Somerville. Page after page, it is realistic, true, sensitive and very practical in providing us with the elements necessary to meet the challenges to be faced with an attitude that will glorify the Lord. Its goal is to help us not to weigh ourselves down by carrying unnecessary burdens, while being a precious help. - Nathalie Turcotte (wife of François Turcotte )
I have no doubts that this book will prove to be a source of encouragement and instruction for women who support men called to care for the Church of God.
This book brings to light the treasures of glory, grace and hope that God holds in store for pastoral wives. I enjoyed reading this exceptional work very much and I believe that the wives of pastors will give it a marked preference for a long time.

Mary's writings bear witness to her rich life experience. She knows the frustrations, traps, discouragement and loneliness of a woman whose husband is in ministry.
