Born in Fontenay, near Vatan, France, Pastor Henri Lanctin founded the Mission la Bonne Nouvelle in 1934 in Moncton in New Brunswick. Despite constant and sometimes violent opposition, for more than 60 years he proclaimed salvation by grace to francophones in Canada, especially Acadians. Henri Lanctin was also, in 1935, the first to have preached the Gospel in French on the radio in North America and probably in the world. This book, filled with gripping stories, portrays this pioneer of the gospel who, through his tireless efforts and unwavering faithfulness, had a profound impact on those who knew and heard him.
