This book was born on a Monday morning. Monday morning after answering a phone call and a spontaneous visit. Monday. The day when pastors often want to resign. Sunday should not be the measure of our faith, but Monday morning when our faith is tested in the everyday world. Jesus said in the parable of the Sower that the preoccupations of the world and the deceptive attraction of wealth often stifled faith (Matthew 13:22).

Many Christians seek a balanced life, a Christian faith that has "reasonable" demands for our busy lives. We are looking for a “work-spirituality” reconciliation which contrasts with the model given by our Master. The apostle Paul will write: "Suffer with me ... remember Jesus, the crucified and risen Messiah".

The Bible tells us about the reasonable Christian life according to God: offer your lives as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God ... which will be a reasonable worship on your part (Romans 12.1).

This book is a wake-up call for Christians today to take seriously the call of Jesus: “Come, and follow me”. My prayer is that we may make our own these two statements of the apostle Paul: "For me my life is Christ and if I die I win" (Philippians 1:20) and "If I live today, this no longer I who live. It is Christ who lives in me ”(Galatians 2.20)

To me living is Christ and written in such a way that it can be used as discipleship materials in small groups or in Bible study settings. It contains 12 short chapters and discussion guides.
