<transcy>From Nothing to Nature (La science, la création et Dieu) </transcy>
Presentation
The theory of evolution is taught almost everywhere as an established and proven fact about the origins of life and the world in which we live. Yet a growing number of scientists, from various disciplines and persuasions, reject this explanation and its many forms.
What are the facts really saying? Where does life come from? When did the earth come into existence? Was Charles Darwin right, or was he wrong?
Professor Andrews examines scientific data and the Bible in parallel with the aim of providing answers to questions like this. Using the impressive baggage of his abilities as a scientist, however, he writes with simplicity. It is particularly aimed at the "uninitiated", especially young people who are subject to evolutionary bombardment as part of their studies, to allow them to find themselves in the maze of diverse and often contradictory opinions.
Written with courtesy, clarity of thought and precision of argument, his book thus offers a welcome introduction into an area that has often been discouraged by its complexity.
